a call for designs...

Son and Heir Apparel is in search of some new designs... and money is the reward, of course.

As this new venture is launching, it's just me and my Photoshop. Nope, no Illustrator, no fancy skills, nothing. But I want this whole thing to get bigger. So that's where you come in.

If you submit a design that I feel must absolutely be made into a new shirt or hoodie, I will pay you $100.

Of course, I am no Threadless. The reward isn't as high, there won't be any voting, there won't be any commissions - but since when do they support sports designs anyway? Anyway, you'll get the 100 bucks, prominent design credit, and a link to your site.

So here's what I am looking for :
1) sports-themed, preferably baseball, football, or college.
2) has to be retro/vintage-styled.
3) no copyright infringement - logos of course, but also slogans.
4) 2 to 4 color design.
5) it doesn't have to be vectorized, my screenprinter can do that.

Now I certainly don't want anybody spending hours designing something, submitting it, me saying thanks but not thanks, and then threatening legal action. Contact me with an idea, maybe a sketch, and we'll go from there.

But again, I really want to start contracting out some of the design work... so if you're serious about any of this, please contact me and we can see what happens.
